LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/16/14 -- From June 17 to 19, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and McGill University will host the 12th International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation in Space (i-SAIRAS 2014). The symposium will gather professionals from five space agencies worldwide who will share their latest research in the field of robotics.
i-SAIRAS is organized every two years by the Canadian Space Agency, the German Aerospace Agency (DLR), the European Space Agency (ESA), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Media are invited to the opening plenary on Tuesday, June 17, at 8:30 a.m., during which each agency's representative will give a presentation on their latest research, advances and future programs in the field of robotics.
