VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - June 16, 2014) - Luna Gold Corp. (TSX: LGC) (LMA: LGC) (OTCQX: LGCUF) ("Luna" or the "Company") today announced that Keith Hulley has retired from his roles as Director and also Chairman of Luna's Board of Directors ("Board"). Concurrently, the Board has named current Director, Luis "Lucho" Baertl as new Chairman of the Board and also has appointed Steven Krause as lead independent Director.
Mr. Baertl stated, "On behalf of the Board and everyone at Luna, I would like to thank Keith not only for his leadership, but also for the dedication and commitment he has given to Luna during his tenure as Director and Chairman of the Board."
