Uriage Dermatological Laboratories Implements Cegedim Relationship Management Mobile Intelligence and MI Touch to Drive Top Line Growth for Business Unit in Spain

Cegedim Relationship Management today announced that Laboratories Dermatologiques d’Uriage Espagne has implemented Cegedim’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and tablet solution, Mobile Intelligence and MI Touch. Uriage is an established Cegedim customer who will be leveraging the Life Sciences specific solution across its Medical and Pharma teams in Spain. For the last 22 years, Uriage Dermatological Laboratories has delivered sustained innovation to the medical community and patients through exceptional skin hygiene and care solutions.

Uriage’s commercial teams must meet the needs of a wide range of targets - doctors, dermatologists and pharmacies - with an even wider range of products, from therapies for sensitive skin to anti-aging. To better streamline the process, Uriage required a mobile CRM that easily surfaces complex customer data, is tablet-optimized and easy to use, and offers the flexibility to change as their needs evolve.

Powerful CRM Platform Enhances Data and Delivers Unmatched Flexibility

Cegedim Relationship Management’s out-of-the-box CRM platform provides Uriage a 360-degree view of customer data in order to improve understanding of customer activities, behavior, spheres of influence and key affiliation networks. Mobile Intelligence features dynamic flexibility via seamless integration with other systems; the ability to add or enhance functionalities and visualizations; and the capacity to better maintain control over configuration, deployment and cost.

“We were looking for a mobile CRM platform that could grow with our business, and we have every confidence that we have found this in Mobile Intelligence,” said Mercedes Porteros, General Manager of Uriage Laboratories’ Spanish affiliate. “We chose to expand our relationship with Cegedim for several reasons. Their technology and system functionality are superior; and we have been extremely satisfied with their customer service in the years we’ve been doing business with them.”

MI Touch brings the powerful CRM solution to the fingertips of Uriage’s commercial forces. Available for iPad, iPad mini, and Windows 8, the solution’s simple yet intuitive graphical user interface offers the same rich functionality both on and offline. Designed specifically for the tablet, Uriage’s diverse team can easily assess, capture and analyze customer data on the go - facilitating more meaningful interactions with prescribers and pharmacists in Spain.

“We’re delighted to continue building our relationship with Uriage. As a long standing customer of our historic CRM, TEAMS, and our robust HCP database solution, OneKey, Uriage was looking to strengthen its commercial users with a cloud-based, tablet-ready solution that would employ the customer insights from OneKey,” said Stefan Janssens, President EMEA & APAC, Cegedim Relationship Management. “Most importantly, Uriage values our high level of customer service that serves as the foundation of our products and services for the Life Sciences industry.”

The cloud era has reached the stage where it is no longer a question of whether a company should migrate, but when. Enterprises have embraced the outsourcing of where their various applications are stored and who manages them, saving significant investment along the way. Plus, the cloud has become a defining competitive edge. Companies that fail to successfully adapt risk failure. The media, of course, continues to extol the virtues of the cloud, including how easy it is to get there. Migrating...

When shopping for a new data processing platform for IoT solutions, many development teams want to be able to test-drive options before making a choice. Yet when evaluating an IoT solution, it’s simply not feasible to do so at scale with physical devices. Building a sensor simulator is the next best choice; however, generating a realistic simulation at very high TPS with ease of configurability is a formidable challenge. When dealing with multiple application or transport protocols, you would be...
