Digital Imaging Specialists FotoNation To Drive Advances in Computational Imaging With Updated Brand

FotoNation Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRA) and the leading provider of computational imaging solutions for digital still cameras and mobile phones, today announced that it will once again operate under its original FotoNation name. With technology in more than 60 percent of global tier-1 smartphones, FotoNation will continue to develop technologies that serve the imaging industry. In addition to a re-energized look and feel, the company will bring the same level of innovation from its camera and smartphone business to the growing automotive, security, surveillance, and augmented reality markets. FotoNation will operate as a distinct identity of parent company Tessera Technologies, Inc., a leader in the innovation and licensing of intellectual property and technology in areas such as mobile computing and communications, memory and data storage, and 3-D Integrated Circuits.
