LXR&CO Launches Its First Canadian Boutique at Hudson's Bay Queen Street

TORONTO, ON -- (Marketwired) -- 06/17/14 -- Vintage luxury retailer, LXR&CO is bringing its assortment of classic and modern pieces from designers such as Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton, to Canada with the debut of its first Canadian boutique, at Hudson's Bay Queen Street.

LXR&CO emerged in early 2012 as a wholesale retailer. Fast-forward to 2014, and LXR&CO has established itself as the go-to for shopping high-end vintage. Co-founded by two young entrepreneurs, Frederick Mannella, 28 and Kei Izawa, 29, LXR&CO is thrilled to open at Hudson's Bay in downtown Toronto. With two store fronts located in Beverly Hills and New York, as well as a thriving ecommerce site (LXRCO.COM), opening up in Toronto's downtown central shopping district is a big next step for the Montreal-based brand.

CEO and Founder, Frederick Mannella, prides LXR&CO on being "a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stuffy, old school vintage industry." With the mantra, "Des Instants de Bonheur," Mannella has been adamant on creating a retail experience that makes customers feel excited and comfortable when shopping luxury. His intent was to build a welcoming environment where customers would be able to purchase high-end merchandise. With fantastic customer service and a range of great brands, Hudson's Bay is an ideal location for LXR&CO to open its first Canadian store.

LXR&CO's top brands include vintage pieces from Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton, to name a few. Some items to look forward to include Céline's Tie Knot Handbag in dark gray which appeared in the French designer's Spring 2014 collection. Chanel's beautifully detailed Camellia Flap will also be for sale at the Toronto location, along with a fantastic selection of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage. With retail prices starting from $100 for small wallets and accessories, to almost $3,000 for Chanel Flaps, there is something for everyone.

More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints.
