BALTIMORE, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/14 -- Carchex, an industry-leading provider of direct to consumer automotive products and services, today announced a new Keystone sponsorship of Hunt Valley Horsepower, a weekly gathering of automotive enthusiasts and their favorite vehicles.
Every Saturday morning from 8 to 10 a.m., car enthusiasts from all over the Northern Baltimore County region gather at Hunt Valley Towne Centre. Automotive participation ranges from 100 to 150 on a weekly basis to as many as 1,800 cars, trucks and SUVs for special quarterly events. For the 2nd Anniversary on April 5, 2014, approximately 1,800 show vehicles and 5,000-6,000 total spectators were in attendance.
With its move to new headquarters in Hunt Valley Towne Centre last month, Carchex has become a neighbor to the weekly event. The two organizations have quickly become partners. To launch the Grand Opening of their new location in Hunt Valley Towne Centre, Carchex will join Hunt Valley Horsepower's next quarterly Cars & Coffee event.
"We are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Hunt Valley Horsepower. As new neighbors, we are happy to be part of such a great community event," said Jason Goldsmith, Carchex CEO. "It is an excellent group of people who share our enthusiasm for cars, trucks, and SUVs. It is a natural fit for us."
Carchex will be supporting Hunt Valley Horsepower's weekly events and look forward to helping its community's automotive needs. "We couldn't be happier to welcome Carchex to Hunt Valley and for them to partner with our automotive community," said Rich Williams, founder of Hunt Valley Horsepower. "We know they love cars as much as we do."
