Autographer Mount Adapter Helps to Capture Spontaneous Moments

Autographer's Intelligent, Wearable Camera Can Now Connect to Photography Accessories and Mounts So You Can Prepare for Spontaneity Wherever You Are

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/14 -- Autographer®, the world's first intelligent wearable camera, today announces its new Autographer Mount Adapter. This latest addition from the brand will allow users to securely connect the camera to tripods, activity mounts and other photography accessories to perfectly place the camera in any location and capture spontaneous moments. There are two mounting points on the adapter for maximum versatility and the camera is ready to automatically take high quality, wide-angle shots all day long, so you're always prepared for that unexpected moment.

"Great things happen when you're least expecting it and some of the most treasured moments are rarely captured with standard cameras. We created the Mount Adapter for Autographer to help people record even more of these moments as naturally and spontaneously as they happen," said Simon Randall, managing director of Autographer. "We saw time-lapse customer videos of picnics, events, weddings and also road trips on bikes, scooters and even baby strollers. Our customers have been asking us for more secure ways to fix the Autographer in situations like these so our new Mount Adapter does just that."

The Mount Adapter is the perfect partner for Autographer's full-day battery, which can take up to 12 hours of time-lapse photography. Autographer recommends using the Mount Adapter with a range of third-party accessories that work seamlessly with the hands-free intelligent camera. These include:

1. Tripods: capture beautiful time-lapse sequences of your family on a day out at the beach or a birthday party.

2. Bike mounts: attach Autographer to your handlebars for a weekend excursion or to capture all the sights you miss on your commute. The mount can also be fixed to baby strollers allowing Autographer to document a day spent playing in the park.

3. Window mounts: record a scenic journey from the front car window, or fix Autographer to the garden window, leaving you free to spend all day playing with your children without any "photo call" interruptions.

4. Bottle mounts: mount Autographer to a wine or soft drink bottle during a family picnic or dinner party; taking images of natural smiles and fleeting moments without interruption.

Authentic Images of "Real Life" Rather Than "Posed Life"

With Autographer you can enjoy and experience the moment without having to pause to take photos. With its 136-degree wide-angle lens, Autographer can take an average of up to 2,000 images per day depending on user-defined sensitivity settings. Autographer chooses the perfect time to take a picture, using its five on-board sensors to detect changes in light, motion, direction, color and temperature. The camera comes with easy-to-use desktop software and a smartphone app, allowing users to view and edit photos; helping to construct a digital story of their day as they go about activities.

The Autographer Mount Adapter is available now from www.autographer.com and priced at $50.

Wooed by the promise of faster innovation, lower TCO, and greater agility, businesses of every shape and size have embraced the cloud at every layer of the IT stack – from apps to file sharing to infrastructure. The typical organization currently uses more than a dozen sanctioned cloud apps and will shift more than half of all workloads to the cloud by 2018. Such cloud investments have delivered measurable benefits. But they’ve also resulted in some unintended side-effects: complexity and risk. ...
It is ironic, but perhaps not unexpected, that many organizations who want the benefits of using an Agile approach to deliver software use a waterfall approach to adopting Agile practices: they form plans, they set milestones, and they measure progress by how many teams they have engaged. Old habits die hard, but like most waterfall software projects, most waterfall-style Agile adoption efforts fail to produce the results desired. The problem is that to get the results they want, they have to ch...

When growing capacity and power in the data center, the architectural trade-offs between server scale-up vs. scale-out continue to be debated. Both approaches are valid: scale-out adds multiple, smaller servers running in a distributed computing model, while scale-up adds fewer, more powerful servers that are capable of running larger workloads. It’s worth noting that there are additional, unique advantages that scale-up architectures offer. One big advantage is large memory and compute capacity...
