ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/14 -- AlliedBarton Security Services, www.AlliedBarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, will create a sustainable trade show display at the 2014 Every Building Conference & Expo, presented by BOMA International and Buildings magazine. This initiative will benefit the Community Food & Outreach Center of Central Florida, which provides a range of services for their clients who are struggling through unemployment, hunger, housing difficulties, and more. AlliedBarton will be exhibiting at Booth #907 at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center from June 22-24, 2014.
"Instead of shipping a traditional trade show booth, we have purchased furniture and carpet locally to create our exhibit space, therein reducing our carbon footprint and helping a local non-profit organization," says Mike Coleman, BOMA Fellow and Vice President, Commercial Real Estate, AlliedBarton. "Following the trade show, these items will be donated to the Community Food & Outreach Center. This is our ninth consecutive BOMA show where we've been able to support a local organization with a large furniture donation."
"We are so very appreciative of AlliedBarton's generous donation of furniture and other items to our organization and the families we serve in Central Florida," said Scott George, co-founder of the Community Food & Outreach Center. "Our mission to serve the 'working poor' families and children has been given a tremendous boost by AlliedBarton's gift as we continue to offer help and hope to those struggling in these difficult economic times."
AlliedBarton's Bill King, Director of Corporate Operations Training, will also lead an educational seminar titled "Seamlessly Integrate Security Solutions" for the Safety, Security and Risk Avoidance track held on Monday, June 23, 2014, from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. This session will help attendees learn how to implement technology solutions to empower a security force and maximize its impact.
"The security industry continues to evolve with new technology solutions, streamlined operations and increased efficiencies," says King. "Different solutions, including incident reporting, remote camera monitoring, and security officer automated tour systems, are being integrated to create comprehensive security programs at commercial buildings across the country. While the industry may be exploding with products, systems and choices, the ideal is a carefully selected and integrated suite of security solutions, specific to the needs of a property."
The 2014 Every Building Conference and Expo is the commercial real estate industry's premier professional event. Designed by leading experts for property professionals of all levels of experience, the conference curriculum will feature nearly 50 sessions organized across eight distinct educational tracks. Session topics will include: optimizing the value of assets; attracting and retaining tenants; cultivating leadership skills and new talent; increasing operational performance; harnessing new innovations and technologies; turning sustainability issues into operational practices; anticipating new trends in office design; and more.

DevOps theory promotes a culture of continuous improvement built on collaboration, empowerment, systems thinking, and feedback loops. But how do you collaborate effectively across the traditional silos? How can you make decisions without system-wide visibility? How can you see the whole system when it is spread across teams and locations? How do you close feedback loops across teams and activities delivering complex multi-tier, cloud, container, serverless, and/or API-based services?
