SpringHill Suites Ewing Hotel Near Princeton University Hosts ArtNight

The Ewing Hotel Partnered With Ewing High School to Host the Second Annual Event Showcasing Student Works

EWING, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/14 -- SpringHill Suites Ewing Princeton South Hotel hosted its second annual ArtNight this May, in partnership with Ewing High School, showcasing student works for the local community and hotel guests.

On the evening of May 27th, the lobby of the hotel was transformed into a vibrant art gallery, where students showcased their unique works of art for public display. Ranging from sculptures to ceramics, drawings, and various paintings, each work stood as a singular expression of the student who created it.

The night also featured classical music by Ewing High School's String Quartet, and student prizes were awarded for some of the evening's most innovative and striking pieces. Guests were treated to refreshments while they browsed the various works.

"ArtNight complements the SpringHill Suites brand's focus on style and design, while paying tribute to local art and education, "said Pat Brogan, General Manager of the hotel. "We are proud to offer this experience to Ewing High School students, the community, and our guests."

More than 3,000 hotels across the country host the brand's award-winning ArtNight every year, which allows hotels to enrich their guest experience in a way that benefits the local community. The event provides an outlet for local artists and gives them the opportunity to display their unique talents for a new audience.

The hotel, located near Princeton University, raised a total of $1,350 by working together to organize fundraising events for art supplies for the art programs in Ewing Schools. Co-workers hosted bake sales and raffles in support of the local programs, in a combined effort to make sure that art, creativity, and inspiration remains at the forefront of the community's education system.

The evening was an incredible success and the staff looks forward to hosting future events that will help connect guests with the community, and provide a platform for local artists and neighbors.

Web Real-Time Communication APIs have quickly revolutionized what browsers are capable of. In addition to video and audio streams, we can now bi-directionally send arbitrary data over WebRTC's PeerConnection Data Channels. Each component is developed by a different team, using different technologies and practices, and deployed to a different stack/target –...
