DENVER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/14 -- The Pulse Beverage Corporation (OTCQB: PLSB), makers of Natural Cabana® Lemonades, Limeades and Coconut Waters, and PULSE® brand of Heart and Body Health beverages, today announced that Albertsons' Southwest Division will carry the company's recently introduced Natural Cabana® Coconut Water, Limeade and Raspberry Limeade at more than 100 stores throughout Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern Utah and El Paso, Texas.
Paddy Sheya, Vice President and National Sales Manager of Pulse, said, "Albertsons has been a longstanding customer for our lemonades. We are pleased that the Southwest Division will be carrying some of our newest product lines and gratified that this prestigious grocery chain is expanding its relationship with our company.
"Pulse-branded products are now being featured in four Albertsons divisions at approximately 400 stores. Initial deliveries to the Southwest Division Albertsons stores are expected to be received within the next two weeks," Sheya added.
Sheya noted that Boise-based Albertsons, which in March announced a definitive merger agreement with Safeway Inc. to be completed by the end of this year, currently operates more than 1,000 stores in nearly 30 states under the trade names ACME, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Lucky, Shaws, Star Market and Super Saver, and stores under the United Family of stores, Amigos, Market Street and United Supermarkets.
