Players Network Announces Over 60 Million Views Across PNTV YouTube Channels

Players Network YouTube Channels for Players Network, Vegas on Demand, Sexy Sin City TV and YourWeedTV Achieve Milestone

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/14 -- Players Network (OTCQB: PNTV), a Digital Television, Technology and New Media company that develops, owns, and operates Branded Lifestyle Channel Destinations announces today that it has reached over 60 million views across its four YouTube Channels. PNTV channels are "Vegas On Demand," "Players Network," "Sexy Sin City TV" and "YourWeedTV" for its newest Branded Channel Destination WeedTV.

The YouTube views have the dual benefit of promoting NextGenTV(SM) Channel Destinations as well as being monetized through program sponsors and advertisers. The current trend of audiences shifting from traditional linear television programming to new digital media and VOD (Video on Demand) programming, is being reflected in a dramatic increase in Internet Advertising. In fact Zenith Optimedia expects the internet to account for 24.7% of all US advertising spend in 2014 with this increasing to 30.7% in 2016, up from just 6.0% in 2005. With US advertising spend at over $174.7 billion this is approximately $43 billion on US internet advertising in 2014. Advertisers appreciate the increased analytics offered from internet advertising and the ability to target specific niche consumer groups. The ability to identify specific target demographics and consumer groups translates into higher CPM advertising rates benefiting the Company's Branded Lifestyle Channel Destination strategy.

"Vegas on Demand" is also seen in over 100 million homes and in over 200 markets nationally through distribution agreements with Comcast Cable and Hulu. Players Network is a Hulu Channel Partner and has a revenue share agreement on all views generated across their 80 million homes for advertising in Players Network programming. The Company will seek to use its broadcast relationships to create additional distribution for future Channel Destinations. The ability to distribute programming over multiple broadcast channels is one factor that differentiates Players Network from other web asset only properties.

Mark Bradley, Players Network's Chief Executive Officer states: "Surpassing 60 million views on YouTube truly enhances our clout with potential sponsors and advertisers. This is a tremendous distribution channel to cross promote our NextGenTV(SM) Channel Platforms, www.realvegastv.com and www.weedtv.com as well as drive top line revenue. We have a proven track record of generating tens of millions of views and attracting audience. Now we also have an internet enterprise vehicle in place to turn these viewers into members, subscribers and consumers to generate multiple additional revenue streams."

When growing capacity and power in the data center, the architectural trade-offs between server scale-up vs. scale-out continue to be debated. Both approaches are valid: scale-out adds multiple, smaller servers running in a distributed computing model, while scale-up adds fewer, more powerful servers that are capable of running larger workloads. It’s worth noting that there are additional, unique advantages that scale-up architectures offer. One big advantage is large memory and compute capacity...
