NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/20/14 -- Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, a leading national securities law firm, reminds investors in Apollo Education Group, Inc. ("Apollo Education" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: APOL) of the June 23, 2014 deadline to seek the role of lead plaintiff in a federal securities class action lawsuit filed against Apollo Education and certain executives.
A complaint has been filed in the District of Arizona on behalf of all persons who purchased or otherwise acquired Apollo Education securities between October 19, 2011 and April 1, 2014, inclusive (the "Class Period").

On April 1, 2014, the Company disclosed that the Department of Education had issued a subpoena to Apollo Education, seeking the production of documents and detailed information regarding a broad range of activities, including marketing, recruitment, enrollment, and financial aid processing.
