The leading software for water data management now supports blended rating curves for environmental monitoring agencies that prefer to prorate rather than shift their rating models.

Field measurements, cross-sectional survey data, and dynamic river conditions (such as backwater, scour, fill, ice, and weeds) all have to be taken into account when calculating discharge. The accuracy of computed discharge data is directly dependent on rating curves. AQUARIUS Time-Series centralizes all the information and tools required to develop the best rating curves, giving water resource managers the highest confidence in their calculations of flow.

The AQUARIUS Time-Series Rating Development tool is engineered to support the latest global standards set by the US Geological Survey (USGS), the International Organization for Standards (ISO), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). It is used by national agencies, like the USGS and New Zealand National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, to efficiently develop and maintain accurate and legally defensible ratings in less time.
