Citi Platinum Select/ AAdvantage World MasterCard

The AAdvantage World MasterCard from Citi benefits from the same concierge service offered by Barclaycard's Arrival Plus. The major distinction in this case, however, is that Citi card members actually have two distinct options available to meet their needs. The standard World MasterCard concierge operator is always standing by to help with purchase requests ranging from travel reservations to rental cars, flowers, event tickets, and much more, but Citi also has another option for Platinum Select customers.

Known as the VIP Desk, the service operators via email, online portal, and telephone support. In addition to requesting concierge service for big-ticket purchases and last-minute special events, cardholders can use the VIP Desk to have a concierge strategically leverage their miles or other rewards so that they get both the best possible product and the best possible deal in combination with their earned rewards and statement miles.
