DBMM Group Continues Business Development With New, Major European Partner

NEW YORK, NY and LOS ANGELES, CA and LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 06/23/14 -- Digital Brand Media & Marketing Group, Inc (OTC Pink: DBMM) (PINKSHEETS: DBMM) DBMM Group released a public statement today to announce that the Company will be providing data analytics and digital marketing services to one of Europe's leading provider of business processes and professional support service groups. This contract, in conjunction, with the major automotive group announced earlier this month, will have significant revenue implications for DBMM. Both are expected to be long-term business consultancies which, because of the monetized brand development inherent in the deals, is a real upswing for DBMM.

Reggie James, Co-Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice-President Marketing & Communications has commented: "Major companies now see the CIO and CMO relationship as being key to the success of their enterprise and following on from our last release, this announcement further demonstrates the demand for DBMM Group's digital marketing agency, Digital Clarity -- this is a testament to the company's positioning and continual quest to build a best in class business in large business centers across the world."

Though focused in Europe, the company provides world-class processes and implantation for centralised government in areas such as education, financial services and defense.

James added, "This deal not only reflects the growing demand by large organizations who are looking to put 'digital intelligence' at the center of the strategic growth policy but also by the recent PwC 2014 Global Digital IQ report (http://pwc.to/1hyEFso) that says: 'Today, all roads lead to digital. From business strategy to execution, digital technology has become the foundation for everything we do. Nearly every organization lays claim to being a digital enterprise, but only 20% of respondents rated their companies as having 'excellent' Digital IQ.' -- this continued growth and demand is reflective of the rapidly evolving marketplace that positions DBMM Group very positively."

The Company's in the process of preparing its interim report 10-Q for the third quarter which will be issued in mid-July.

Fifty billion connected devices and still no winning protocols standards. HTTP, WebSockets, MQTT, and CoAP seem to be leading in the IoT protocol race at the moment but many more protocols are getting introduced on a regular basis. The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Complete Internet of Things (IoT) embedded device security is not just about the device but involves the entire product’s identity, data and control integrity, and services traversing the cloud. A device can no longer be looked at as an island; it is a part of a system. In fact, given the cross-domain interactions enabled by IoT it could be a part of many systems. Also, depending on where the device is deployed, for example, in the office building versus a factory floor or oil field, security ha...

How should enterprise IT executives and buyers define their focus, needs, and roadmap, and communicate that clearly to the providers?
