MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/23/14 -- Genius Properties Ltd. (the "Corporation") (CSE:GNI) is pleased to announce the voting results from its annual shareholders' meeting (the "Meeting") held June 20, 2014, in Montreal, Quebec.
All matters put before shareholders at the Meeting were approved by 100% of the total shares represented at the meeting in person or by proxy, including (i) the re-election of Stephane Leblanc, Guy Paul Allard and Patricia Lafontaine as directors of the Corporation, and (ii) the appointment of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Accountants, the whole as more fully set out in the as further detailed in the Corporation's management information circular, dated May 16, 2014.
A total of 10,227,415 common shares of the Corporation (representing approximately 48.42% of its outstanding common shares) were represented at the Meeting in person or by proxy.
