UST Global Wins the Golden Stevie(R) Award 2014 for Excellence in HR

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwired - June 24, 2014) - UST Global, an information technology solutions and services company for Global 1000 enterprises, has won the Golden Stevie® Award 2014 for 'Human Resources Team of the Year' in the 12th American Business Awards held in Chicago.

UST Global was selected by more than 240 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year. The company was presented the award in the category for HR practices that enable "Business Strategy that Goes Beyond Just Business," signifying its expertise in delivering high-quality of on-boarding, career development, training, engagement practices, coaching and also highlighting competency building for the launch of Step It Up America.

"It is an honor to be acknowledged for our efforts on such a huge platform. The award reaffirms the commitment and capability of our HR team in adding positive value to the business and empowering our employees with progressive and dynamic human capital practices at UST Global," said Manu Gopinath, Global Head of HR, UST Global.

Congratulating all the winners, Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards said, "It's an honor for us to recognize and celebrate such an outstanding class of organizations and individuals. The judges were especially discerning this year. All of this year's Stevie winners should be proud that the judges recognized their achievements and their ability to express those achievements in a way that captured the judges' hearts and imaginations."

The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for "crowned," the trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, June 13 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 400 nominees and their guests attended. The presentations will be broadcast by the BizTalk Radio Network this week on Tuesday and Friday nights.

More and more companies are looking to microservices as an architectural pattern for breaking apart applications into more manageable pieces so that agile teams can deliver new features quicker and more effectively.
