SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/14 -- Document Capture Technologies (DCT), a leader in mobile capture devices and innovative productivity solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its Salesforce API within the SimpleECM API platform. The Salesforce API gives developers, OEMs, and system architects the ability to integrate enterprise content management (ECM) services, capture solutions, and workflow logic with Salesforce.com, the leading on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) service.
The SimpleECM Salesforce API is the newest addition to the growing directory of business applications and document management services used to build productivity enhancing workflows. As a simple REST API with uniform authentication, this new release provides faster, easier ways to integrate data from documents into Salesforce workflows to create, retrieve, update, or delete CRM records.
"Automating common business processes, such as adding contacts or business documents to account records in a CRM system can make small and medium businesses more efficient and productive," said Karl Etzel, President and CEO, DCT. "Our new API makes it easy to integrate Salesforce into document workflows in a web or mobile environment to speed time-to-market for SaaS integration initiatives."
