Mavenir Systems (NYSE: MVNR), a leading provider of virtualized software-based network solutions for mobile services, today announced that it won the NFV Innovation of the Year award, for its virtualized RCS solution at the LTE World Summit, taking place June 23-25, 2014, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Ian Maclean, Vice President, Strategy and Marketing, also spoke at the event where he addressed service innovation, the growth of VoLTE and how it is opens the door for operators to add new 4G LTE based-services such as HD Voice, Wi-Fi calling and other rich communications. He shared insight gained from Mavenir’s extensive experience transforming mobile operator networks to 4G LTE and commercially deploying new services such as VoLTE and Rich Communication Services (RCS).

I wanted to gather all of my Internet of Things (IOT) blogs into a single blog (that I could later use with my University of San Francisco (USF) Big Data “MBA” course).
