Orchard Scotts Dental Introduces Invisalign Dedicated Clinic for Consumers in Singapore

New Orchard Scotts Dental clinic in Singapore aims to raise the bar in holistic and premium aesthetic dentistry for consumers through a dedicated Invisalign experience

Singapore, June 25, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Orchard Scotts Dental, an Invisalign Platinum Elite provider clinic and an expert in aesthetic dentistry, announced today the launch of the Orchard Scotts Dental Flagship Clinic Powered by Invisalign. Through this Invisalign Dedicated Clinic, consumers in Singapore will be able to experience Orchard Scotts Dental's unique approach in delivering a holistic smile makeover using state-of-the-art treatment options like Invisalign clear aligners and other aesthetic, implant, and neuromuscular procedures.

"According to a public study conducted in Singapore, 93 percent of Singaporeans surveyed desired straighter teeth and a perfect smile. Yet, less than a third of them have sought orthodontic treatment," said Julie Tay, Asia Pacific Vice President of Align Technology, creators of the Invisalign clear aligner system. "We believe there is a real demand for better smiles across the region."

From the same study[1], the respondents were found to relate better smiles to the ability to be more successful at work (67 percent) and in their dating life (79 percent). In addition, 60 percent of Singaporeans surveyed would readily give up S$10,000 in retirement savings for a better smile.

"Our customers' interests lie at the heart of our operations, and we are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to grow and improve, in order to serve our customers better," shares Dr. Ronnie Yap, Principal Dentist at Orchard Scotts Dental. "We have a dedicated and experienced team of dentists that strongly believes in the art of crafting a unique smile that is perfect for each and every individual. The launch of our Invisalign Dedicated Clinic reinforces Orchard Scotts Dental's ability to provide a premium and more customized level of service, attention and care to our patients."

Adults and teens now have a modern choice for straightening their teeth. No more wires and brackets required - the Invisalign system is the clear alternative to metal braces that uses a series of virtually invisible and removable aligners that gradually move teeth over time. The benefits include: being removable, no food restrictions, minimal interference with sports or other activities, and teeth get straightened without most people knowing they are in treatment. As-a-service models offer huge opportunities, but also complicate security. It may seem that the easiest way to migrate to a new architectural model is to let others, experts in their field, do the work. This has given rise to many as-a-service models throughout the industry and across the entire technology stack, from software to infrastructure. While this has unlocked huge opportunities to accelerate the deployment of new capabilities or increase economic efficiencies within an organization, i...
