Ascom Network Testing announced today it had secured significant orders for VoLTE testing with a tier 1 operator in the US. With these orders, the company continues to strengthen its global market leader position in VoLTE testing by securing multiple contracts for drive test and stationary test probes. The overall value of the orders is expected to exceed 5 MUSD in 2014. The fixed probe deployment is based on TEMS™ Monitor Master, and it is a part of a national deployment testing VoLTE performance. The mature TEMS Monitor Master platform supports all major services and network tests, and its open and flexible architecture gives rapid access to new technologies. The drive test solution is based on TEMS™ Investigation, Ascom’s market leading RF test solution for data collection.
“Assuring the VoLTE Quality of Service is a challenging enterprise due to the inherent complexity of the technology. It is exciting that our customers continue to lean on our expertise and solutions as they are advancing their efforts to provide the best possible subscriber experience, including during deployment of VoLTE networks,” says Arnt Arvik, VP Americas for Ascom Network testing.
The TEMS™ solutions used in VoLTE deployments will be showcased in stand 56 during LTE World Summit 2014, taking place in Amsterdam June 24-25th.
