LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/14 -- AIA Worldwide, the EMEA headquarters of TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, LLC, a global tech-enabled talent acquisition company, today announced that it has been recognised with seven awards at the 35th Annual Telly Awards.
Overall, the company won a Silver Award, the highest honour of The Telly Awards, for use of animation in online video, and six Bronze Awards for its recruitment campaigns with three high-profile employers. With nearly 12,000 entries from numerous countries and all 50 U.S. states, these seven wins are a testament to AIA Worldwide's ability to deliver innovative digital talent acquisition solutions for clients that enable them to communicate their employer brands and attract the right talent.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honouring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs; the finest video and film productions; and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.
For its 35th season, The Telly Awards once again joined forces with YouTube to give the public the power to view and rate videos submitted as part of the People's Telly Awards. In addition to recognition from the Silver Telly Council, the judging panel that selects the Telly Awards winners, the Internet community helps decide the People's Telly Awards winners.
A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.
"The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video," said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. "AIA Worldwide's accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production."
"It is truly an honour to be recognized by the Telly Awards for our expertise as we leverage digital, software and creative solutions to develop highly effective recruitment campaigns for our clients. These seven awards represent that the vibrant video content that AIA Worldwide creates helps make employers stand out in an increasingly competitive recruiting market," added Martin Rimmer, Creative Director for AIA Worldwide.

We all know the latest numbers: Gartner, Inc. forecasts that 6.4 billion connected things will be in use worldwide in 2016, up 30 percent from last year, and will reach 20.8 billion by 2020. We're rapidly approaching a data production of 40 zettabytes a day – more than we can every physically store, and exabytes and yottabytes are just around the corner. For many that’s a good sign, as data has been proven to equal money – IF it’s ingested, integrated, and analyzed fast enough. Without real-ti...
