Cambridge Semantics, the leading provider of Smart Data solutions driven by Semantic Web technology, today announced the launch of its Anzo Smart Data Integration (ASDI) software to help enterprises rapidly understand and integrate information assets. ASDI is designed to reduce integration timeframes and costs by 10X and enhance time-to-revenue when on-boarding new customers, partners and data.
ASDI uses common, conceptual business models to automate traditional data integration tasks, eliminating the need for hand-coding and direct data exchanges between teams. By automating the process of creating extract-transform-load (ETL) jobs that run on popular ETL engines, enterprises are assured that their data integration projects are completed with a high level of quality and accuracy.
ASDI enables business analysts to map source and target systems to the common, conceptual model via an easy-to-use, familiar spreadsheet interface. Systems are only ever mapped once, rather than once per project. ASDI then automatically generates extract, transform and load (ETL) jobs that run on popular ETL engines such as Informatica or Pentaho.
With ASDI, business analysts can control the setup, design and configuration of the ETL jobs as well as track data lineage and view dashboards showing project, data source, schema, model, and governance information. ASDI also improves redundancy by allowing enterprises to use multiple ETL vendors.
“As the volume of business data continues to explode, companies are seeking ways to accelerate the process of integrating data during acquisitions, new customer and product onboarding, regulatory compliance responses and more,” said Alok Prasad, president of Cambridge Semantics.
“Any business operation that involves migrating data from one or more organization, database or system to another can benefit from reducing the complexities of the process with Anzo Smart Data Integration,” Prasad said. “We’re already seeing high levels of interest by industry-leading organizations to join our beta program.”

Almost two-thirds of companies either have or soon will have IoT as the backbone of their business in 2016. However, IoT is far more complex than most firms expected. How can you not get trapped in the pitfalls? In his session at @ThingsExpo, Tony Shan, a renowned visionary and thought leader, will introduce a holistic method of IoTification, which is the process of IoTifying the existing technology and business models to adopt and leverage IoT.
