Hot Mama Health and Fitness is a unique exercise program that removes one of the biggest obstacles families face when it comes to exercise: childcare.
These family-friendly programs allow moms - and dads - to bring their kids to workouts and encourage the kids to be active socially and physically.
Another unique feature of these certified programs is that they don't require a storefront: parks, beaches, hills, community centres, dance and martial arts studios can all be settings for classes where kids are always welcome.
First established in Victoria, B.C., Hot Mama franchises spread quickly across Vancouver Island with seven locations established since 2012. More recently, Hot Mama has caught the attention of fitness-minded franchisees in Alberta, with seven new locations slated to open later this summer, including Edmonton, Leduc, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, and Calgary. And now Hot Mama has entered Ontario, with the announcement of a franchise opening in Windsor.
