LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/14 -- This summer, The Palazzo® Las Vegas, in partnership with Hyundai, present the Second Annual TopSpin Charity Ping Pong Tournament. The event, hosted by basketball star Chris Paul, takes place on July 26, at Lagasse's Stadium inside The Palazzo. Al-Farouq Aminu, Alan Anderson, Jimmy Butler, Willie Green, Allen Lavoy, Roger Mason, Isaiah Thomas, P.J. Tucker, and John Wallace, are just a few of the athletes who are scheduled to appear with Chris Paul in this unique charity event.
Spectators will rub elbows with some of basketball's best while watching them lob and smash their way to ping pong greatness. This event is not only for the athletes. Should guests feel up to the challenge, they can buy their way into the amateur ping pong tournament that features a first-place cash prize of $1,000 plus the opportunity to meet Chris Paul and present the night's celebrity tournament winner with the championship trophy.

The Chris Paul Foundation strives to impact the communities it serves by using its resources and passion for philanthropy to enhance and promote education, health, sports and social responsibility for youth and families. In 2005, Chris established the Chris Paul Foundation, in honor of his late grandfather, to provide scholarships for kids to attend Wake Forest University.
TopSpin is a community of sports, entertainment, & media professionals that work together to raise funds for deserving educational nonprofits. Since inception four years ago, the organization has used charity Ping Pong tournaments to raise more than $1 million and fund fourteen charitable partners.
The Jump for Joy Foundation is committed to providing youth and families with the resources to combat childhood obesity and live healthier lifestyles through education and physical activity.
