Pneuron Announces New Distributed Platform with Enterprise-Grade Enhancements

Technology start up and pioneer in the Distributed Solutions category, Pneuron Corp., today announced the availability of the newest version of its distributed platform that enables enterprises to rapidly design, deploy and run distributed solutions and solve business challenges at their source. With this latest version, Pneuron provides enhanced enterprise-class features around Clustering, Notifications and Big Data integration to better connect business and IT and solve problems with unmatched speed & agility.

With a mission to help accelerate business value, Pneuron’s technology allows companies to leverage their existing systems and infrastructure to connect data, applications, processes and analytics without the need of intermediary databases, associated data integration costs or system replacement. Customers manage the entire business solution lifecycle from a single screen – including development, deployment, integration, resiliency, availability and performance. The result is increased productivity, dramatic reduction in time to value and a re-invigoration of the business and IT collaboration which is critical to converting innovative ideas into working solutions.

“Pneuron offers a radical, alternative to the way enterprise solutions are designed & deployed. As a result, our customers have experienced the time, cost and the risk of traditional centralized alternatives cut in half,” said Simon Moss, CEO and president of Pneuron. “Our latest version increases the key enterprise-class features so they can utilize the Pneuron platform as a robust member of their ecosystem and visually access and connect data, applications and processes of any type, anywhere – without coding, without new infrastructure and without the large systems and data integration costs of the past.”

“Enterprises need to find ways to interrogate data without adding new processing steps, disrupting workflow or pulling assets off of revenue-generating projects,” said Aileen Arcilla, Research Manager-Enterprise Impact for Neuralytix, Inc. “Pneuron found an innovative way to bring analytics to the data. Their approach offers a platform that can design, deploy, run and maintain high performance solutions with a significant reduction in time, cost and risk of traditional alternatives.”

Pneuron extends its distributed platform by providing unmatched capabilities to accelerate and increase value of distributed data projects:

Enhanced Clustering

Companies can share the same infrastructure for one or more Pneuron clusters and opt-in worker nodes specifically aligned to one or more different business problems and processing priorities. This provides a more user-friendly implementation, better utilization of compute resources and an overall more sophisticated clustering model in terms of flexibility and asset utilization. For am example of our clustering performance check out the website case study.

Enhanced Notification System

The enhanced notification system provides for a rich, configurable experience in delivering errors, warnings, alerts and other informational messages about the operations of designed customer networks and the core Pneuron platform to a broad set of enterprise destinations. Hundreds of message types at various levels of detail can be gathered and delivered to multiple configurable enterprise destinations including a database, file or enterprise monitoring tools.

Big Data/Analytics Value Realization

Additional market-leading data sources have now been added that further expand the range of integration targets supported by the Pneuron platform, including Hadoop HDFS, Vertica, Teradata, Exadata and Sybase. This assists enterprises in converting insights generated by these Big Data platforms into realized business value. Pneuron’s interoperability across Big Data sources, analytics platforms and “run-the-business” applications simplifies and accelerates building of end-to-end solutions that leverage added insight into business operations.

Expanded Set of Management APIs

Furthering its commitment as an open platform, Pneuron is expanding its already extensive set of APIs to include management capabilities for its enhanced clustering system. With these extensions, external applications can leverage the full power of the Pneuron cluster management capability to inject work, set priorities for queued work, start and stop worker nodes and terminate units of work. Pneuron acts as a highly-efficient, distributed execution platform used by other applications and workflows that use its rich interoperability and processing capabilities across a diverse set of data, applications and analytics across the enterprise.

Availability

Pneuron v1.2.18 is available immediately for both existing and new customer deployments. Please contact your Pneuron account lead or request additional information through Pneuron’s website.
