IDG’s Computerworld announced Janney Montgomery Scott as an honoree for “2014 Best 100 Places to Work in IT.” This is annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals selected and published by IDG’s Computerworld. The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers. Responses factor heavily in determining the rankings. In the list, Janney was ranked #13 of 23 Midsize firms.
“We are very pleased to be recognized by Computerworld as one of the “Top 100 Best Places to Work in IT for 2014,” said Robert Thielmann, Chief Information Officer at Janney Montgomery Scott. “We believe IT employees want to have a say in their jobs and know their contributions are valued. This fosters a collaborative and high output work environment where the staff is focused on creating the best client experience. This award acknowledges the overall corporate culture and quality workplace at Janney.”
