David Selakovic Promotes Vegalab's Food-Grade Quality Fertilizers

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND -- (Marketwired) -- 06/26/14 -- Summer is here, temperatures are rising and so are sales of fruits and vegetables, be it to lose those last few pounds and get ready for the beach or to enjoy a nice, light and healthy meal. But how healthy are the fruits and vegetables really? The secret lies in their fertilizers. Studies have shown the resulting significant decrease in nutritional content brought on by synthetic fertilizers. And farmers as well as hobby gardeners alike face additional risks when using synthetic fertilizers on their plants, since direct contact can also cause serious health problems. Harmful substances, depending on the fertilizer that is being used, can range from chemicals to downright toxic substances, including lead, mercury or arsenic, to just name a few. Sticking to organic produce in the supermarket is one way to minimize the exposure risk. But what do you do when you grow your own fruits and vegetables?

Luckily, the increasing awareness of what we put on our plates and in our stomachs has driven research efforts on organic fertilization solutions, providing us with some excellent, all natural choices. On the forefront of this movement is Vegalab, a manufacturer of sustainable, all-natural agricultural products managed by David Selakovic. Vegalab offers mineral-based fertilizers comprising ingredients with food-grade quality, providing instant access to nutrition that is necessary for optimal plant growth. Vegalab fertilizers contain Iron sulfate, which is derived from H2SO4 and Fe3+, both very clean sources from which the mineral is derived. Potassium silicate is formed through the reaction between silica sand and potassium carbonate, making a high-quality ingredient. The result is an increase in the amount of absorbed nutrition, promoting healthy plants and crop enhancement, while at the same time decreasing the amounts of volatile residue in the soil.

Vegalab is a pioneer in the field of formulating and manufacturing environmentally responsible agricultural products that are rooted in sustainability with the goal of bridging the gap between traditional chemical and demanding natural solutions to offer eco-safe, all natural products that are based on years of biological research and patented technology. The driving force behind Vegalab's research efforts and innovations is David Selakovic, who spearheads the company's European headquarters in Geneva. Thanks to Selakovic's innovative spirit, Vegalab enjoys a great reputation amongst professional farmers, landscapers and hobby gardeners in countries around the world.
