In April of 2014, Auncor, Inc. (dba: TADS), already the most complete offering for outsourced financial services in the private and faith-based K-12 school market, added to that robust product and service suite by acquiring the SEM/SIS product Cornerstone from ImageTrend, Inc. of Lakeville, MN.
Cornerstone is one of the most comprehensive enterprise management solution on the market for organizing data throughout an Archdiocese or single organization, allowing information to be managed for schools, parishes and fundraising needs all in one system. TADS provides cutting-edge technology and service solutions for admissions, enrollment, financial aid assessment, scholarship administration, billing and tuition management to over 1,500 private and faith-based K-12 schools nationwide.
“We believe that the Cornerstone acquisition continues a TADS trend of quietly setting the standard for complete and efficient service to families and schools throughout the entire student relationship,” said Martin Peyer, President of TADS. “Cornerstone is a powerful and robust product. Married to our technology strengths, it will round out the most diverse service set for schools in the industry.”
The addition of Cornerstone to TADS was believed to be the first of its kind in the industry. Unlike their largest competitors, TADS has exclusively focused on the K-12 market, creating an impressive growth curve achieved almost entirely by word-of-mouth recommendations. Cornerstone now falls under the stewardship of a group dedicated to integrating the product into a mission of best-in-class technology and service for schools and families.
“ImageTrend and TADS have worked together for many years,” said Michael McBrady, President of ImageTrend, Inc., “and together, we are confident that TADS will continue to improve the quality of Cornerstone, continue to provide outstanding customer service, and along with their current offerings, be able to provide the most comprehensive and integrated product suite available in this market today.”
To assist in a seamless transition, TADS has inherited key ImageTrend employees who were previously dedicated to the Cornerstone platform. All products and services will be managed centrally out of TADS headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.

In the next five to ten years, millions, if not billions of things will become smarter. This smartness goes beyond connected things in our homes like the fridge, thermostat and fancy lighting, and into heavily regulated industries including aerospace, pharmaceutical/medical devices and energy. “Smartness” will embed itself within individual products that are part of our daily lives. We will engage with smart products - learning from them, informing them, and communicating with them. Smart produc...
