English Version of Japan’s Largest Site for REIT Data Goes Live

IB Research & Consulting, Inc. and Japan REIT, Inc. today announced the launch of an English version of Japan-REIT.com, Japan’s largest portal site for information on Japan’s REIT market. The URL of the new site is as follows: http://www.japan-reit.com/en

Major players in Japan’s real estate market, from insurance companies and fund managers to REITs and real estate developers, have come to rely on Japan-REIT.com for the latest detailed data on Japan’s REIT market. Now global investors, too, can have access to this data through the new English version of the site.

With the implementation of “Abenomics” and plans underway for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Japan’s real estate market is receiving a major boost. Net capital inflows into J-REIT funds in the first four months of 2014 have exceeded 230 billion yen, mainly from banks and investment trusts, and the prices of Japan’s ten-largest listed REITs have all increased at double-digit rates over the past year, driving the total market capitalization of all listed J-REITs above 8 trillion yen for the first time.

The English version of Japan-REIT.com makes it easy for global investors to keep abreast of market trends and investment news in Japan’s REIT market, as well as to drill down into the portfolios of Japan’s listed REITs. Features of the site include the following:

  • Listing of dividend yields

The current dividend yields of all listed J-REITs are conveniently displayed on one page, along with other useful data, including unit prices, net asset value per unit, and market capitalization.

  • Page view customization (free registration required)

Registered users can set displays to view the latest information and disclosures for the listed J-REITs they select. They can also receive email notifications when new disclosures are released.

  • Display of disclosure releases (registered users only)

Disclosure releases are displayed by category for easing searching and viewing.

  • In-depth information on individual listed REITs

Users can get in-depth information on all 46 of Japan’s listed REITs, including summary statistics, financials, and property portfolio overviews, along with easy-to-grasp graphs showing performance trends.

  • Property maps (registered users only)

Registered users can view the location on a map of each property owned by an individual REIT, along with street views, to drill down on the property portfolios of every listed J-REIT.

The new English version of Japan-REIT.com is positioned as the go-to resource for global investors seeking the latest information on Japan’s dynamic REIT market.
