LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/29/14 -- The Trade Desk, Inc. -- a global demand-side platform in the $5B real-time advertising industry -- will celebrate a year in the Singapore market as CEO Jeff Green travels to participate as a speaker at ATS Singapore July 7. Green's visit to the region marks a significant milestone for the company. Green, along with Andrew Tu, managing director of APAC, has filled out its staffing in the region over the past 12 months as client demand grows.
"We've been stunned by our success in the APAC market, and so grateful for the clients who have joined us in building programmatic in the region over the past year," says Green. "I particularly want to congratulate Andrew Tu, our managing director here, for building on our reputation with his leadership and for recruiting a staff we are proud of."
Tu who launched APAC's first demand-side platform, Brandscreen, brings more than 20 years of digital marketing experience to the role. Since joining the company in late August, he has grown the staff and client roster, including opening offices in Sydney, Australia where he hired Commercial Director Doireann Ó Brádaigh.
Tu agrees with Green's assessment, saying, "As an early pioneer working with the first generation of DSPs in APAC and now working with The Trade Desk, I can say that our technology is the best in the industry. We have the infrastructure and we have the capability. We know it will become the platform for real-time advertising campaigns in the region. It's an exciting time for business in the region right now, and we're perfectly positioned to capture the RTB market here."
Green will participate as a speaker at ATS Singapore on a panel titled "Evolution of Digital Trading" on Monday, July 7 at 10:20 a.m.
