Exact, a leading provider of ERP business software solutions for small-to medium-sized businesses (SMB), today announced general availability of Exact Macola 10, the next evolution in ERP software designed specifically to increase the speed and accuracy of doing business in today’s complex manufacturing environment.
This new product introduction marks a significant milestone for the company, having designed, developed and launched the solution in just 14 months since the entrance of new Exact Macola Managing Director, Alison Forsythe.
Exact Macola 10 is comprised of four key areas:
- Exact Macola’s core ERP functionality, which now includes callable objects, enabling browser-based screens and custom web apps; and quality measurement capabilities for reviewing and measuring samples when purchased items are received
- Ease of use improvements including configurable workspaces and improved visual elements that turn data into consumable information
- Business Activity Monitoring that automatically executes actions when triggers are met
- Business Process Management which provides document management, custom workflows and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Exact Macola 10 is specifically developed for organizations focused on manufacturing and distribution within industries such as aerospace, automotive, food and beverage, metal fabrication and electronics manufacturing. It offers a single solution that ties in every element of the business including consolidated financials, inventory, tracked orders and costs, workflow, document storage and customer relationship management.
According to long-time Exact Macola user Nicole Voelker, Business Systems Analyst, National Packaging Service, Exact Macola 10 brings tangible value to organizations that implement the solution. “The ease of use for our employees will save us significant time and expense as a company. Configurable workspaces put a user’s day in a logical pattern based on their particular role. The information a user needs to conduct daily tasks is at their fingertips without having to go find it. Additionally, the increased speed of data exchange due to the new web-based functionality in Exact Macola 10 will be crucial to getting our corporate office more aligned with our remote sites.”
The launch of Exact Macola 10 is one of several initiatives previously announced by Forsythe, since taking the helm in April, 2013. In an effort to reinvigorate the trusted Exact Macola product brand, founded in 1971, Forsythe has implemented a new partner-centric go-to-market strategy and instituted a strong customer intimate culture within the organization earlier this year.
“Exact Macola is a proven ERP solution that has stood the test of time. We’ve taken that core business logic and incorporated new, leading-edge technology to provide the path forward for organizations to streamline their operations like never before,” says Forsythe. “The launch of Exact Macola 10 will propel us forward toward our goal of becoming the #1 market leader in the ERP software space serving manufacturing and distribution customers in the SMB and mid-market.”
