Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ:TNGO), a leading global provider of Connection Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and related services, today announced it has been recognized as a Leader in Forrester Research, Inc.'s “The Forrester Wave™: Global BYOD Management Services, Q2 2014” for its MatrixMobile BYOD Solution Suite. MatrixMobile is part of Tangoe’s Matrix, an integrated solution suite comprised of software and services to address the entire lifecycle of an enterprise’s mobile, fixed, machine, cloud, IT and social communications.
Tangoe was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its Wave™ evaluation, and was recognized for its “fully integrated mobility management services (MMS) and mobile device management (MDM) solution for corporate-liable and BYOD devices.” Core capabilities highlighted in the report included advisory, activation, management, expense monitoring and support.
“Tangoe should be considered by large and multinational user organizations that are interested in outsourcing mobility management, including BYOD, in one or multiple countries that ranges from full mobility life-cycle management outsourcing to a selection of individual services within its portfolio,” wrote Chris Andrews, vice president and research director, Forrester Research.
“Highly mobile workers like road-warrior sales reps and constant-motion executives need a laptop to compose and modify reports and work with spreadsheets,” Andrews wrote. “But empowering these individuals with the right technology for their jobs, with the right cost-control mechanisms and proper security measures, is becoming increasingly complex.”
“BYOD is a top concern for enterprises across the globe, and organizations should regularly evaluate their business objectives and adjust their blend of corporate and individual liable devices to best suit their current mobile environments,” said Al Subbloie, president and CEO of Tangoe. “Today’s enterprises require an end-to-end solution for managing their complete mobility needs, as we believe is evidenced in Forrester’s Wave report. We also feel that Tangoe being recognized as a leader in this space provides further validation of the strength of our offerings and our ability to help customers manage their increasingly complex and global mobile environments.”
