Scantron® Assessment Analytics™ Solution Launches at ISTE® Conference

Scantron Corporation has launched Scantron® Assessment Analytics. The announcement was made earlier today in Atlanta at the annual conference of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®). The new solution enables educators to analyze longitudinal assessment data from multiple sources, including Achievement Series®, Scantron’s own award-winning web-based district wide assessment solution for K-12 educators. Scantron® Assessment Analytics™ provides a wide range of interactive dashboards and pre-built connectors that help visualize data for quicker and easier access.

With Scantron Assessment Analytics, administrators can efficiently ask and answer questions about their assessment data from a district or school perspective. It also presents data in the way users want to see it – starting with a dashboard, then drilling down or across to different views and levels of detail. Scantron Assessment Analytics delivers data visualizations that are interactive and immediate, so educators have current results through daily data updates.

As fast as educators can pose questions, Scantron Assessment Analytics can deliver answers. At the classroom level, teachers can analyze student data by filtering down by standard and identifying specific instructional needs at a class or student level. Scantron Assessment Analytics is powered by QlikView technology. By using QlikView’s patented “associative” query language to create a virtual data warehouse, districts can bypass additional IT projects and costs. As a result, implementation time for Scantron Assessment Analytics is measured in days, rather than in months or years. Also, there are no restrictions or limitations on the questions that can be asked of the data.
