Perfect365 Partners with Mosaic to Create Printed Photo Books using Smartphones

ArcSoft, the global leader of image-intelligent technologies, today announced a partnership between its award-winning digital photo makeover app, Perfect365, and the highly popular photo book app Mosaic by Mixbook. For the first time ever, Perfect365 users can use their flawlessly-edited images to create lasting memories in a Mosaic photo book – a sleek, 20-page album that can be created in less than five minutes.

The average photo book can take hours to create, making the time to finish personalized albums a challenge. Mosaic streamlines the process, taking users from photos to a finished book in a snap – all on a smartphone.

“The great thing about photo albums is that they keep your favorite memories accessible and tangible. It’s a conversation starter, a great gift, or the kind of item you want displayed on your coffee table,” says Vickie Wei, Director of Corporate Marketing for ArcSoft, the creative team behind Perfect365. “But picture-worthy occasions such as camping trips, vacations and spontaneous candids aren’t always so forgiving. Rather than spending hours playing around with filters and editing tools to adjust your portraits, Perfect365 and Mosaic make it so easy to bring your memories to life, or quickly create a fantastic present for any number of occasions.”

How Perfect365 works

After users have snapped a few selfies and loaded photos from their camera rolls, ArcSoft’s industry-leading Face Detection technology takes over, automatically mapping a person’s eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and hairline. This allows users to create professional-looking touched-up photos by choosing from dozens of pre-set templates for a flattering, realistic makeover inspired by today’s hottest styles, timeless looks or natural palettes. Users can also customize their look with nearly 20 tweaking tools that whiten teeth, brighten eyes, banish blemishes and much more.

Creating the photo album: So easy, you have no excuse not to finish it

When 20 images are perfected and saved to My Favorites in Perfect365, they can be quickly added to a Mosaic album with just a few clicks. There, they are immediately transformed into a high quality, 20-page, 7 by 7 inch photo book, complete with a durable linen cover featuring cutout windows that give a sneak peak of the photos within. For a flat rate of $20 (plus shipping), users receive a one-of-a-kind keepsake on their doorstep in just four days. The Mosaic feature is available on Perfect365 for iOS and will soon expand to Android.

Whether it’s a honeymoon album or modeling portfolio, BFF memento or “mom and me” token, Perfect365 and Mosaic are excited to be collaborating on a unique gift idea that transforms memories into an attractive, meaningful keepsake.

"Perfect365 has created a wonderful app that makes it dead simple to beautify your portraits,” says John Flaaten, Director of Business Development, Mixbook. “Through our partnership with Perfect365 we have made it easy to take your pixel-perfect iPhone photos to your coffee table in a Mosaic book. The barriers from photo capture and editing to print are minimized with our partnership. This is an exciting example of how popular editing and photo commerce apps can collaborate to deliver consumers beautiful and seemingly effortless photo products."

Recent innovations and enhancements to the award-winning Perfect365 app continue to fuel its popularity. Already listed as a Top 10 Photo App in the iTunes, Google Play and Windows stores, Perfect365 has now reached more than 38 million downloads in record time.

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.

Large industrial manufacturing organizations are adopting the agile principles of cloud software companies. The industrial manufacturing development process has not scaled over time. Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters across multiple teams is even harder.
