iSIGN Media Announces United States Patent Number 8781887 Issued for its Out-of-Home Proximity Marketing Technology Method, and Other Corporate Updates

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/03/14 -- iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. ("iSIGN" or "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ISD) (OTCQX:ISDSF), a leading provider of interactive mobile advertising solutions that serves advertisers, manufacturers, retailers and advertising agencies throughout North America, announced today the receipt of an Issue Notification letter from the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("Office") confirming the final patent issue number for the Company's "method and system for out-of-home proximity marketing and for delivering awareness information."

The patent number is 8781887 and, as per the Office, the issue date is July 15, 2014.

"Receipt of the patent number is an important piece of information for our existing and potential clients, especially those in the United States to have," stated Mr. Alex Romanov, iSIGN's Chief Executive Officer. "This patent will lay the groundwork for our future patent submissions for existing as well as future processes."

iSIGN expects patents to be granted in several other jurisdictions as a result of the receipt of the United States patent.

On July 1, 2014 the Canadian Anti-Spam Law ("CASL") came into effect. This law governs the sending of Commercial Electronic Messages ("OEMs"). iSIGN is pleased to advise that our patented technology meets the requirements of this legislation and that iSIGN's Out-of-Home proximity marketing technology method, and its Smart Antenna and Smart Player products, in no way contravenes or violates the new Anti-Spam law and that the Company will not be affected by it.
