Convirture is making it as easy as possible for people to try its management software for multiple virtualization and cloud platforms because it has learned that the easiest way to make people understand and appreciate the value delivered by its capabilities is to have them try it for themselves.
The company is offering a fully-functional, 30-day trial of its flagship product ConVirt Enterprise Cloud, which is used by data center managers worldwide to cost-effectively manage multiple hypervisors and cloud platforms including VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen, Eucalyptus, Amazon EC2 and OpenStack.
The trial includes full documentation and everything required to immediately install, configure and start using ConVirt Enterprise Cloud in a two-host learning environment. In addition, there is a long list of resources that include pre-requisites for the trial, Getting Started Guides, additional documentation and videos.
"Since we released the open source version of ConVirt back in 2008, our goal has always been to provide IT managers with an easy-to-use method to manage a multi-hypervisor environment, which we have since extended to multi-cloud," said Arsalan Farooq, founder and CEO of Convirture. "We are confident that seeing is believing."
ConVirt Enterprise Cloud delivers advanced automation and scalability features necessary to run large-scale or mission-critical virtual environments, while managing enterprise clouds side-by-side with those virtualized workloads. In addition to providing a "single-pane-of-glass" to multi-virtual, multi-cloud data centers, ConVirt provides powerful management capabilities for VMware and Hype-V at a fraction of the cost of vCenter and Microsoft System Center.

Data is an unusual currency; it is not restricted by the same transactional limitations as money or people. In fact, the more that you leverage your data across multiple business use cases, the more valuable it becomes to the organization. And the same can be said about the organization’s analytics. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Bill Schmarzo, CTO for the Big Data Practice at EMC, will introduce a methodology for capturing, enriching and sharing data (and analytics) across the organizati...
