Fitch Learning Unveils New 'Exam Prep App - CFA'

Fitch Learning has announced the release of Exam Prep App - CFA, an
innovative new mobile app for CFA exam candidates, offering a
first-preparation app for the CFA exams which enables CFA study from
anywhere at any time.
Leading features of the Exam Prep App - CFA include:
--3,000 test questions;
--90 hours of video recorded instruction from Fitch Learning's
accredited full time faculty;
--Slides and instructor-annotated course notes;
--Full capabilities and technical support without a WiFi connection -
the first CFA exam preparation app with this feature;
--Compatible with iPhone, Android, tablet, and mini tablet.
"Fitch has prepared over 31,000 candidates for the CFA exam in the last
14 years," said Rob Thakur, Head of Professional Qualifications at
Fitch. "Our Exam Prep App - CFA incorporates all we have learned about
tutoring and supporting candidates to become charterholders. We are very
excited to share this valuable resource as a free download and trial."
"Our clients have confided in us that one of their biggest challenges is
time. They are managing demanding jobs in highly pressured industries
and the required study time is scarce. To that end, the Exam Prep App -
CFA app allows our clients to manage time more effectively. With some
lectures only a few minutes long, even a quick train ride could mean a
full lesson absorbed," Thakur continued.
Global pass rates for the exam are low, according to the CFA Institute.
The organization acknowledges inadequate question practice as one of the
causes and this was another strong consideration during the app's
"To obtain a pass, candidates need more than content knowledge. They
need repetition of question practice and a deep understanding of how to
perform for success. Exam Prep App - CFA was intuitively engineered to
address these areas. It retests knowledge until the required level of
knowledge is achieved, making candidates more confident than ever in
their CFA preparation," continued Thakur.
The app is now available for free download and seven-day trial in both
the Apple App and Google Play stores. The Exam Prep App - CFA joins
Fitch Learning's robust library of training resources for CFA
candidates, including online and classroom courses to prepare for the
December 2014 exam.

What happens when the different parts of a vehicle become smarter than the vehicle itself? As we move toward the era of smart everything, hundreds of entities in a vehicle that communicate with each other, the vehicle and external systems create a need for identity orchestration so that all entities work as a conglomerate. Much like an orchestra without a conductor, without the ability to secure, control, and connect the link between a vehicle’s head unit, devices, and systems and to manage the ...

In this strange new world where more and more power is drawn from business technology, companies are effectively straddling two paths on the road to innovation and transformation into digital enterprises. The first path is the heritage trail – with “legacy” technology forming the background. Here, extant technologies are transformed by core IT teams to provide more API-driven approaches. Legacy systems can restrict companies that are transitioning into digital enterprises. To truly become a lead...

The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to simplify and streamline our lives by automating routine tasks that distract us from our goals. This promise is based on the ubiquitous deployment of smart, connected devices that link everything from industrial control systems to automobiles to refrigerators.
