Smarthome™ announced today that it has expanded its offering of connected home products with the introduction of the new Honeywell Lyric™ thermostat.
The Lyric thermostat is the first offering in a new family of innovative connected home products from Honeywell. Using smartphone location, the Lyric thermostat knows when you are coming and going. It automatically sets the thermostat in energy saving mode when the house is empty, and when it knows you are coming home it automatically heats or cools the house to your preferred temperature. The Fine Tune feature factors indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity and weather into its algorithm, enabling it to provide the most comfortable temperature in the home.
With the Lyric app (available via the Apple iTunes and Google Play app stores), homeowners can adjust their home’s temperature wherever they are. When inside the home, the thermostat can be managed using Honeywell’s familiar round dial control on the thermostat itself.
“The Lyric thermostat is an exciting and innovative new offering from Honeywell, and we expect it will be very popular among Smarthome customers,” said Scott Holder, Vice President of Marketing, Smarthome. “With this addition to our product lineup, we reinforce Smarthome’s vision to be the one-stop source for home automation, lighting and appliance control products.”
The Lyric thermostat will be available 7/14/14 at Smarthome for $279.99. To learn more, please visit http://www.smarthome.com/29938/Honeywell-Lyric-Smart-Wi-Fi-Network-IP-Thermostat/p.aspx or www.lyric.honeywell.com.
