SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/14 -- Bestronics, Inc., a Silicon Valley based manufacturing services firm announced today that Ron Menigoz has joined the firm as Chief Technology Officer. In an unusual move for a contract manufacturing firm, Menigoz has been tapped to guide customers through the complex cost and time-to-market decisions surrounding in-house versus contract manufacturing strategies. Menigoz will drive highly differentiated and comprehensive manufacturing and system integration engagements, accordingly. He will also shape the company's technology platform to accommodate customer requirements for successful new product introductions and a flexible platform to manufacture legacy, high mix products.
Menigoz joined Bestronics from Tactus Technologies, where he served as Vice President of Operations. Before Tactus, Menigoz was at Luxtera, where he was the driving force in organizing the manufacturing of the industry's first Silicon Photonics transceivers. Menigoz has held senior operations management positions in Ignis Optics, Blaze Network products, Gadzoox Networks and Bay Networks -- and has been at the forefront of many of the valley's technological innovations as they were launched into volume manufacturing.
"Ron's deep understanding of technology, tempered by his practical experience bringing complex products to market through different manufacturing strategies makes him a considerable asset to Bestronics and the customers we serve," said Bestronics CEO and President Nat Mani. "He understands our customer's pain points and uniquely provides a problem solving dimension to the operations challenges our customer's face along with an eye toward quickly organizing and tuning our systems to support their requirements."

WebRTC sits at the intersection between VoIP and the Web. As such, it poses some interesting challenges for those developing services on top of it, but also for those who need to test and monitor these services. In his session at WebRTC Summit, Tsahi Levent-Levi, co-founder of testRTC, reviewed the various challenges posed by WebRTC when it comes to testing and monitoring and on ways to overcome them.
