CAMBRIDGE, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/16/14 -- Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the software company powering the digital enterprise with Better Business Software, today announced the company has appointed Anne Warner to the position of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Ms. Warner will be responsible for leading Pegasystems' global legal and compliance groups.
Ms. Warner has more than 20 years of experience as in-house counsel and is an expert at taking businesses global. She was previously Executive Director and International Counsel at Alexion Pharmaceuticals in Cheshire, Conn. During her time with Alexion, Ms. Warner led global initiatives on international corporate structuring, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and policy development. Prior to Alexion, Ms. Warner held the position of Senior Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions for Inverness Medical (now Alere), where she provided counsel on 25 deals in 13 countries for the publicly-traded medical device company. Previously, she was General Counsel to two privately held software companies in the Boston area.
Ms. Warner holds a BA from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
