Stratix Partners With Meru Networks to Give Customers Ultra-High-Performance Wireless Capabilities

Global Wireless Leader's 802.11ac High-Performance Systems Now Available Through Leading Mobile Services Provider

NORCROSS, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/16/14 -- Stratix, which provides managed mobility services (MMS) to Fortune 500 companies, today announced a broad sales and support alliance with Meru Networks, the industry leader in intelligent Wi-Fi networking. Both companies serve a dramatically expanding global market, with mobile device counts expected to increase from 10 billion today to 212 billion by 2020.

Under the terms of the partnership, Stratix will resell and support Meru Networks' Wi-Fi solutions, including its 802.11ac access points and its Identity Manager and E(z)RF network-monitoring software suites. Meru's clear advantage in 802.11ac is due primarily to its Virtual Cell, the single-channel deployment option in its MobileFLEX architecture, which optimizes Wi-Fi performance and reduces latency. Meru serves more than 12,900 customers in 56 countries.

"We are impressed with Meru's pace-setting innovations in the enterprise wireless space," said Gina Daniel Lee, Stratix vice president of Strategic Alliances, "making them a strong partner to further future-proof our customers' increasingly complex mobile deployments. We look forward to building new joint opportunities in the education, healthcare, and hospitality sectors, where Meru shines."

Stratix adds the Meru product line to a comprehensive portfolio of mobile technologies and services in environments from factory floors to airports to retail stores. Stratix delivers technology and support services with best-in-class MDM (Mobile Device Management), TEMS (Telecom Expense Management Systems) and a real-time, single pane glass view of all things mobile through itrac360™, their asset analytics portal.

"With Stratix as Meru's mobility services partner, our customers can now access a wide range of essential and fully integrated support services, superior logistics and flawless execution," said Gary Abad, vice president of channel sales for Meru. "Stratix will help us deliver our unique value to the increasingly distributed enterprise."

Mobile, social, Big Data, and cloud have fundamentally changed the way we live. “Anytime, anywhere” access to data and information is no longer a luxury; it’s a requirement, in both our personal and professional lives. Container technology is sending shock waves through the world of cloud computing. Heralded as the 'next big thing,' containers provide software owners a consistent way to package their software and dependencies while infrastructure operators benefit from a standard way to deploy and run them. Digital Transformation is the ultimate goal of cloud computing and related initiatives. The phrase is certainly not a precise one, and as subject to hand-waving and distortion as any high-falutin' terminology in the world of information technology. Yet it is an excellent choice of words to describe what enterprise IT—and by extension, organizations in general—should be working to achieve. Digital Transformation means: handling all the data types being found and created in the organizat...
