The event is being held at Oakland University and various schools, businesses and recreational sites from August 6-15 and August 23-24. The focus of the Michigan Senior Olympics is enhancing the quality of life for the over 50 age group by providing and developing programs in physical fitness and nutrition and enhancing mental strength and sports skills.
The Michigan Senior Olympics honorary chair is former Detroit Lions legend and Hall of Fame NFL football player, Charlie Sanders. Events will include golf, 5k, 10k, triathlon, pickleball, tennis, ball room dancing and more. Sponsorship in this event not only follows Pomeroy Living's vision and mission but furthers its operating philosophy of "Leading With Our Hearts."
