MOOSE JAW, SASKATCHEWAN -- (Marketwired) -- 07/17/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing the Saskatchewan Festival of Words with $35,000 in funding for its 2014 literary festival, which presents workshops for all ages, reading sessions, concerts, panel discussions, and interviews. Funding is provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, which gives Canadians increased access to the variety and richness of Canada's culture through professional arts festivals, presentations of live professional performances, and other artistic experiences.
Ray Boughen, Member of Parliament (Palliser), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
