TROY, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 07/17/14 -- Innovative Michigan memory care community, Beacon Square (located in Northville, a Detroit suburb), is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. The event is being held in Detroit at Ford Field on Saturday, August 23. The walk will have over 4,000 participants in the Metro Detroit area with the goal to bring better awareness to the disease.
The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is set up for people to learn more about Alzheimer's and how to get involved with finding a cure for the disease, and to learn about the latest developments in Alzheimer's research and possible enrollment in clinical trials. Lastly, there will be a meaningful tribute to honor those who are currently living with or are affected by Alzheimer's disease.
The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the United States' largest event to raise awareness and increase funds for Alzheimer's care and research.
