Western Gas Announces Second Quarter 2014 Distribution and Schedules Earnings Conference Call

HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 07/18/14 -- Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES) announced today that the board of directors of its general partner declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.65 per unit for the second quarter of 2014. This distribution represents a 4-percent increase over the prior quarter and a 16-percent increase over the second quarter of 2013. WES's second quarter 2014 distribution is payable on August 13, 2014, to unitholders of record at the close of business on July 31, 2014.

Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (NYSE: WGP) also announced today that the board of directors of its general partner declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.27125 per unit for the second quarter of 2014. This distribution represents an 8-percent increase over the prior quarter and a 37-percent increase over the second quarter of 2013. WGP's second quarter 2014 distribution is payable on August 22, 2014, to unitholders of record at the close of business on July 31, 2014.

The Partnerships plan to report their second-quarter 2014 results after the market closes on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Management will host a conference call on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. CDT (12 p.m. EDT) to discuss quarterly results.
