Software AG Ranked as a Leader in the Big Data Streaming Analytics Platforms


RESTON, Va., Jul 18, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) –Software AG was among the select companies that Forrester Research, Inc., a leading independent research firm, invited to participate in its report, “The Forrester Wave™: Big Data Streaming Analytics Platforms, Q3 2014 1 ”. In this evaluation, Software AG received top scores in the Current Offering and Strategy Categories, and among the highest scores in the Market Presence Category. Software AG’s Apama Complex Event Processing platform, part of the company’s Intelligent Business Operations(IBO) offering, was evaluated.

Citing Software AG as a company with a “…vision (that) puts real-time customer experience first”, Forrester highlighted several features that landed Software AG’s in the Streaming Analytics Leader category, including:

  • Stream Processing - “Software AG IBO provides comprehensive streaming operators. Filtering, aggregation, location-based, time windows, temporal patterns, query enrichment, action interfaces, and dynamic operators.”
