SHOP.CA Launches Its First Mobile App for the iPhone and Android Devices

SHOP.CA, the destination site best known for offering exclusive daily sales events at up to 90 percent off the most popular and up-and-coming brands for Canadians, today announced its first mobile app for the iPhone and Android devices. The new app will feature the same fabulous exclusive daily sales on top-quality products from 27 categories including home, fashion and electronics offered on SHOP.CA's website, but make it easier for busy Canadians to shop during their morning commute on the train, waiting for lunch at a favourite restaurant, or during kids' soccer practice.

"Millions of busy Canadians shop SHOP.CA's site regularly to discover the best brands and hottest styles for themselves and the family at the best prices, but they are typically on-the-go," said Drew Green, founder and ceo of SHOP.CA. "With the iPhone and Android app, Canadians can take a quick peek at the day's exclusive sales from anywhere, at any time and never miss out on a great deal from SHOP.CA or their favorite brand."

Every day, SHOP.CA features over 12 new exclusive sales events that typically offer 50-90 percent off items ranging from the biggest name brand fashion apparel to stylish tech gear and luxurious home fashion goods. The limited-time-only sales are always exclusive and are promoted to SHOP.CA's members via an email every morning at 8:00 a.m. and are typically only available for one week, so members shop the website early and often to discover the best prices on the brands they want. For example, today's new exclusive daily sales include Toshiba TVs, Bench clothing and Cuisinart appliances at ranges of 20-60 percent off retail prices. The site has become a fashion and home leader by featuring hot styles like those of Nespresso, Nine West, Graco, Tag Heuer, Samsung, and classic kitchen design ware from KitchenAid.

With this app, just like on the SHOP.CA site, Aeroplan Members can earn Aeroplan Miles on every purchase they make with 1 Aeroplan Mile for every $1 spent. Distinction members will earn 2 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 spent on all purchases made at SHOP.CA. Plus, until September 14th, 2014 Aeroplan Members will earn 10 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 dollar spent (excluding taxes) and Distinction members will earn 11 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 spent (excluding taxes) on their first purchase at SHOP.CA.

Now, with the new iPhone and Android app, members can easily shop the site from their iPhone or Android device, earn $25 to spend by inviting friends to shop at SHOP.CA, and earn Aeroplan Miles. In addition, with SHOP.CA's exclusive daily sale events, members can use the app to buy something they love when the daily email arrives and then shop all day while on-the-go while getting the awesome benefit of Free Shipping and Returns.

The SHOP.CA app is immediately available for free in the iTunes and Android stores.
