View Announces First Dispensary Installation in Colorado

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwired - July 23, 2014) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: VSYM), a Baltimore-based manufacturer of integrated weapons detection systems, has been selected by a respected therapy and dispensary center in Wheatridge, Colorado to install the ViewScan Weapons Detection System. This will be the first installation of its kind in the State of Colorado. The ViewScan unit will also include an integrated Identification System. This will provide a high measure of security for the dispensary as well as work as a deterrent towards criminal activity.

Retired ATF Special Agent and View Consultant Marcus Motte will be working with the dispensary during the construction and integration phase. He will be an active member of the security team overseeing the installation of all security aspects that will work in tandem and integrate with the ViewScan.

The ViewScan will be part of the "mantrap" or vestibule entrance structure designed with a single interlocking door capability that allows for rapid, but secure entrance to a facility after a quick scan, credential check or other security procedure can be employed prior to the granting of open access. These vestibule systems have been a feature at level 3 and 4 research labs, military and intelligence facilities, embassies and consulates, as well as precious metals and gemstone processing facilities for many years now. However, the explosive growth in legal marijuana grow operations, dispensaries and retail outlets has opened new interest in incorporating these designs in retail establishments in Colorado and Washington State, where security-conscious owners are exploring every security option available. Significantly, these manufacturers are also incorporating the ViewScan Weapons Detection System into the very structure of their units.

View Systems was recently selected by Alliance Insurance as a security vehicle for which a 5% discount on total coverage would be extended to marijuana growers and retailers, if a ViewScan detection system were installed as part of the total facility-access package. Similar discounts are being offered for installation of these vestibule security packages.

Vestibule security arrangements, with positive locking/unlocking door mechanisms entrances, and ViewScan detection systems have received intense investigation form the marijuana growth, distribution and sales sectors in the booming Colorado marijuana markets. View is currently busy scheduling the explosion of requests for demonstrations.

View plans on sending retired Special Agent Mott, hired especially to service the marijuana distribution market, to Washington State soon to pursue the same industry opportunities there. View Systems has moved aggressively into the marijuana dispensary market with a strategic marketing approach in partnership with HEMP, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HEMP), which led the company into pursuit of security sales to marijuana retail dispensaries and grow operations in Colorado and now, with the approval of recreational marijuana use last week, to Washington State.

View Systems is anticipating an expanded market in Oregon, as a referendum this November allowing for both medical and recreational marijuana sales will decide the fate of the industry in that State. View expects to be a major player in security of retail and grow operations in both of these markets as the marijuana wave continues to sweep across the country.

About View Systems: View Systems, Inc. manufactures and installs weapons detection identification systems targeted at a broad range of government and commercial users. More information can be found at www.viewsystems.com.
