Digney Mario Public Relations Celebrates Its First Year

Hollywood's Premier Independent PR Firm Has Deep Roots, 120+ Grammy(R) Awards to Its Credit

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/24/14 -- One year ago, Hollywood PR guru Lee Solters' longtime partner, Jerry Digney, a native of Needham, MA, and a 1968 high school graduate, changed the name of their storied PR firm, one of the industry's last remaining independent pr firms, to Digney Mario & Company Public Relations (www.digneymariopr.com), located at Hollywood & Vine, in the historic Taft Building.

Solters, a 60-year veteran and pioneer of entertainment PR, who shepherded the careers of Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, John Denver, Dolly Parton, Barry Manilow, Led Zeppelin, and Neil Diamond and the Grammy® Awards TV Specials, among 100s of other musical icons, and helped launch fellow show biz icons, PEOPLE and Entertainment Tonight, passed away in 2009.

Joining Digney and adding muscle to its hi-tech talent ranks a year ago was Internet-New Media guru Ray Mario.
